I admire actors who make me care about a villain and feel the pain hiding in their motives. It makes them human. I am drawn to such roles: a man from the people who goes rogue after a personal tragedy and starts a rebellion against the establishment.
My personal dreams were created by others. By my grandparents, by my teachers, by people who cared for me and wanted me to achieve levels they never reached - a diploma, a job, a career, a steady paycheck. These were the necessary steps to success. Or so I thought. Without knowing it, I was following the path of safety. I was living someone else’s life, fulfilling someone else’s dream. Until I truly listened to myself and acknowledged what I wanted.
Since that day, I have been opening up to acting, directing and writing. To those stories that connect and inspire us. Now I am starting to hear my voice. Now I act and write to reach people. I am building my own dream.
